Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation and its Oceanside Days of Art committee invite visual artists and artisans to apply for participation in the 23nd annual Oceanside Days of Art. This is an opportunity for art makers and craftsmen from throughout San Diego and neighboring counties to showcase their talent and work to thousands of visitors this April at a place in Southern California known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, and artistic freedom. Painters, sculpture makers, and artists specializing in stained glass, ceramics, fine jewelry, photography, etc., are invited to partake in the two-day event.

Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation proudly presents the 23rd annual Oceanside Days of Art held on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, 2015, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Oceanside Days of Art is a juried fine art festival featuring over 100 artists from Southern California networking and selling an array of unique artwork including paintings, sculptures, stained glass, ceramics, fine jewelry, photography and more. The festival, which is offered free to the public, has planned live stage performances, hands-on activities for children and adults, street chalk art making, painting and sculpture demonstrations, and a variety of delicious edibles at the food court. Oceanside Days of Art is held at the corner of Coast Hwy 101 and Pier View Way downtown Oceanside, at the heart of the newly formed North Coast Theatre And Arts District.

Applications for artists are now being accepted. The event organizers have a goal to complete the application process and notify all applicants about acceptance by March 23, 2015. Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to broaden the cultural, artistic, musical and performing arts in Oceanside and the surrounding communities. All proceeds from this annual festival will be used to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors (not just from Oceanside but from throughout North County San Diego) pursing artistic and performing arts degrees, and to organize more quality events in this city.
